BB Cream?

So I've heard A LOT about BB cream lately. Mainly it started off from this Youtube Beauty Guru Bubzbeauty. But now I've looked it up and have done more research on it, BB cream is actually what most Korean stars use to look so flawlessly beautiful. BB stands for "Blemish Balm". It's really more like an advanced and multi-purpose tinted moisturizer. BB cream not only provides great coverage, but also medicated to heal acne! O.O Really sounds like an all-in-one super magic cream. Haha...

So after hearing about all this goodness of BB cream, I really want to try it out!! V^_^V   I found that the most recommended Korean Brand for BB cream is Missha. I've seen its products when I was in Korea but I didn't really look into them at the time.

Found this on www.misshaus.com Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF 42 PA++. SPF42!! That's better than using most sunscreen! Just ordered it. Currently there is a promotion to try this in sample sizes for FREE (only need to pay shipping & handling fee which is $5.99).
Looks very promising. I can't wait!
Placed my order and I can't wait to try it out! I'll post an update once I receive it.

Winter Necessities! The Beauty Post~

Part 2 of my Winter Necessities blog. This time it's about the beauty products that I can't do without during the dry winter season.

The thing that irritates me most about winter is the dry weather. Kinda like an oxymoron when I think about it. Winter is all about cold and snow yet why is it so dry?! First thing I do before I change in the morning is applying mucho lotion on my legs and back. My skin gets rashy and irritated very easily when it's cold out. Aveeno's Skin Relief Moisturizing Lotion was my fav this year. My skin remains silky smooth all day till I shower. Best of all it's not greasy and it's very light.

Of course my all time favorite beauty line is still the more Asian skin suitable Shiseido. I've used it ever since I was in high school! >.< almost 10 years ago...... Shiseido's White Lucent line have kept dark spots and uneven skin tone away from my face. My winter favs: Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Eye Treatment and Shiseido's The Skincare Multi-Energizing Cream. The cream works best for winter, locking in moisture. Although it tends to make my face a bit greasy looking. The brightening eye treatment's a MUST-HAVE for me to treat my @_@ dark circles.

Last but not least, wearing those extra layers of clothing can cover up your natural scent leaving you smelling more like your laundry detergent than you. I like to sprinkle a mist of a light perfume to have a little twist. My favorite in winter: Bath & Body Works' Eau De Toilette in Freshwater Cucumber.

Winter Necessities! Fight the Bitter Cold!

This winter has been extremely cold. They say it's the coldest winter in NYC in the last 20 years? >.<
So to fight this bitter cold and force myself to walk out that door everyday, I have prepared myself with these winter necessities. I need all of these to bundle up!

Gloves, scarves, earmuffs, hats... some times I even pocket a hotpocket (not the microwave food) warmers.
My favorites: these Burberry earmuffs my boyfriend got me. Super warm made with 100% lambswool and shearling lining. Very soft and really keeps my ear toasty.

My other must have item, my warm, knit beanie! Though it gives me hat hair ^_^  But I can't help how cute it looks. Also in perfect winter white (see the theme here). Winter white IS my favorite color. Covers right over my ears to keep them nice and warm. It's my alternative to the earmuffs. I can't REALLY wear those everyday. This way I interchange them around.

It definitely looks cuter on him.

Another one of my favorite hats this winter. Very cute and feminine style knit beret.

Stay warm!
